File

An Evansville man has pleaded guilty to murder and robbery charges.

45-year-old Adam Hartley pleaded guilty for the March 2020 death of 89-year-old Charles Quinn at Quinn’s home in the 1800 block of E. Illinois.

A caretaker found Quinn’s body.

Evidence collected at the scene and surveillance video from the neighborhood led police to Hartley.

In a release, Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Nick Hermann praised Evansville Police Detective Aaron McCormick and numerous motor patrol officers for their work.

Hartley is scheduled to be sentenced July 14th in Vanderburgh Circuit Court.
