An update on the proposed I-69 Ohio River Crossing is scheduled for Thursday evening.
In a release, Ohio River Crossing project officials say they’re hosting a virtual public meeting to update the project, from 6-7 pm central time Thursday.
The single preferred alternative for the new I-69 bridge at Evansville is to construct a new four lane toll bridge that ties directly into the interstate, while keeping one of the Twin Bridges for local traffic. That bridge will not have a toll.
The Final Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision are expected this fall.
