Kentucky State Police say they’ve identified and charged the driver of a truck that damaged a Daviess County bridge.
In a release, the KSP said 53-year-old Willis Fagan of Livermore is charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
Police say Fagan was driving a flatbed truck belonging to United Propane Gas, when an extended crane hit the Panther Creek Bridge on State Road 81.
It was the second time in less than a year that the bridge was damaged by a truck and officials said the span will have to be replaced.
Traffic is being detoured around the bridge.
Officials hope a temporary bridge can be erected in the coming months.
