Police have arrested an Evansville couple accused of dealing narcotics from their apartment. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The EPD says detectives with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force developed probable cause that illegal drugs were being sold at the apartment in the 700 block of Cherry Street.
Sgt. Trudy Day says the investigation led to a judge issuing a search warrant.
Police say the search yielded one pound of fentanyl, more than three pounds of methamphetamine, 35 grams of cocaine, three firearms, two scales, and more than six-thousand dollars in cash.
Police arrested 42-year-old Troy Ogburn Sr. on preliminary charges including dealing methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon.
The EPD says Champagne Josenberger and the couple’s two young children were living in the apartment with Ogburn.
Police arrested Josenberger on a charge of Neglect of a Dependent for her involvement in the case.
