Evansville Woman Charged After Fatal Crash

File

Police have arrested an Evansville woman after a fatal crash on I-69.

Indiana State Police say a car hit a moped in the northbound lanes of the interstate in Daviess County Friday evening.

In a release, the ISP said 25-year-old Jessica O’Bryan of Evansville apparently didn’t see the moped driven by 24-year-old Keirsten Arp of Washington and her car hit it from behind.

Arp died in the crash.

An ambulance took O’Bryan to Daviess County Hospital with minor injuries.

She faces a charge of Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated Causing Death.

The ISP said the crash, the investigation, and cleanup closed the northbound lanes of I-69 for two hours.
