EPD Asks the Public's Help to Find Missing Man

EPD

Evansville police have been searching for a missing man for more than a week and now they’re asking for the public’s help.

Forty-four year old Jason Patrick Smith has been missing since June 2nd. On June 7th after a missing person report was filed, police began their search.

Smith’s mother shared with police that he is mentally challenged and hasn’t taken his medicine in weeks. She says he has never gone missing like this before and they usually do everything together. She added that Smith “likes to go into the woods”.

Someone did report to police that they think they saw Smith a few days ago at a Huck’s gas station at the corner of Diamond Avenue and Fares Avenue but the search continues.

If you have information on the whereabouts of Jason Smith, EPD asks that you call the Detective’s Office 812-436-7979.
