Shooting Victim Identified, Fourth Suspect Arrested

File

Authorities have arrested a fourth suspect and identified a man shot to death in Evansville.

The Vanderburgh County Coroner says 28-year-old Timothy Adams of Evansville died from a gunshot wound to the torso.

In a release, Coroner Steve Lockyear said an autopsy was performed Monday.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of S. Bedford Saturday morning and found Adams deceased.

The EPD said Central Dispatch also received reports of shots fired that came from a location on the North Side, in the 3900 block of N. Fulton.

Police say investigators determined the occupants on N. Fulton -- along with Adams -- had conspired to drive to the Bedford house to commit a robbery.

The EPD said no one was home at the Bedford address, so the robbers apparently shot one of their own.

Police arrested 18-year-old Zaelin Fox, 22-year-old Kingston Southard, and 24-year-old Dayvon Lang on burglary and obstruction of justice charges.

Another suspect, 21-year-old Biker Cox, was arrested in Henderson.
