We Fall Back to Standard Time This Weekend

File

It’s almost time to “fall back.”

The Tri-State returns to Standard Time at 2:00 a.m. Sunday.

Clocks that don’t automatically adjust to the time change should be turned BACK one hour Saturday night.

Some have joked that they don’t want another hour of 2020.

Others might consider it an extra hour to binge on Halloween candy.

On a more serious note, fire departments say the time change is a good reminder to put fresh batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

We lose the extra hour in mid-March when most of the U.S. returns to Daylight Saving Time.
