A Henderson County man is dead after a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.
The crash happened shortly after 8:00 Wednesday morning on U.S. 41 South near Smith Staples Road.
The Henderson County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 25-year-old Joshua Howard.
The Sheriff's Office said Howard was operating the motorcycle.
There was no word on injuries in the pickup truck.
The crash and subsequent investigation forced deputies to shut down the roadway for about two hours.
