An autopsy is scheduled for Monday following a fatal shooting in Evansville.
The victim was shot late Friday night in the 1700 block of S. Bedford Avenue and died at a hospital over the weekend.
Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity.
In a release, Evansville Police said officers responded to multiple calls of shots fired and a report that a man was down, bleeding from the head.
The EPD said the victim received medical treatment at the scene and was transported to a hospital to receive more medical aid.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office said on Sunday that the man had died, and an autopsy was set for Monday.
The EPD said they had no suspect in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
