Volunteer firefighters have extinguished a house fire in northern Vanderburgh County.
McCutchanville Firefighters were dispatched to 400 Knollview Drive, off Old State Road, at about 5:40 this Friday morning.
The first crew on the scene reported a “working fire” and Scott Township firefighters were called to help.
There was no word of any injuries.
Reports from crews at the scene indicated the fire may have started in the home’s basement.
There was no word on what caused the fire.
