Police have arrested a woman accused of hitting a METS bus driver.
Evansville Police say the bus driver picked up a woman at a bus stop at Riverside and Lodge on Monday.
In a release, the EPD said the woman asked the driver to the let her off at Riverside and 41.
The driver refused the request because the intersection is not a designated bus stop.
Police said the passenger became upset, words were exchanged, and the passenger hit the driver in the face.
The driver immediately called police and let the passenger off.
A video of the incident was shown on local TV and online, and the Vanderburgh County Sherriff’s Department located the suspect, Pamela Siddall.
Authorities thanked the public for tips that helped find Siddall.
