Evansville Police are investigating the second shooting in less than a week at an East Side apartment complex.
A police reports indicates officers were called to an apartment in the 2400 block of Sterling Drive at about 9:45 Thursday night.
Police said 25-year-old Joseph Byers of Evansville was found in a back bedroom of the apartment.
He had been shot in the chest, wrist, leg, and stomach, and was taken to St. Vincent Hospital, where his condition was unknown.
The police report indicates Byers was robbed and shot while playing video games with the suspect.
The shooting remains under investigation.
Last Saturday, Evansville Police shot and killed 57-year-old Brian Mullen at the same apartment complex.
Officers said Mullen had pointed a gun at an officer.
