Authorities are investigating a shooting at a party in western Vanderburgh County.
Sheriff's deputies were called to a report of shots fired at a home on Roesner Road, off Hogue Road, just before 2:00 Sunday morning.
First responders discovered a woman had been shot in the hip.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A news release from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says witnesses advised they didn’t know the shooter and described him only as a “black male with dreadlocks”.
The Sheriff’s Office said it will provide updates as more information becomes available.
