Owensboro Police are investigating a fatal shooting.
Police were called to the 1500 block of West 9th Street just after midnight Sunday morning, and found 25-year-old Nick Decker of Owensboro wounded by a single gunshot.
Officers tried to resuscitate Decker but a news release from Owensboro Police says he died at the scene.
There’s no word of any suspects in Decker’s death.
