Two southern Illinois teens are injured after their truck ran off a road and hit a tree.
In a news release, the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office says the pickup ran off River Road on Thursday, hitting the tree head-on.
The sheriff’s office says neither teen was wearing a seat belt.
Both of the teens, who are from Mt. Carmel, were airlifted to Evansville area hospitals.
Authorities haven’t released their identities.
The investigation continues.
