Police have arrested a Boonville man accused of sex crimes in western Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police troopers arrested 58-year-old Nelson Stepro for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a minor in Hancock County last year.
Stepro faces charges of Incest with a victim under 12 years old, Sexual Abuse with a victim under 12, and Sodomy.
In a news release, the KSP said it launched an investigation in January after allegations that Stepro had an inappropriate relationship with an underage juvenile.
He’s being held in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
