The line of people waiting to get into the Ford Center continued growing throughout the day. An hour before doors opened, thousands of people were lined up along 6th Street, 5th Street, Sycamore Street, and beyond. Many of them were wearing Trump T-shirts, and “Make America Great Again” caps.
One woman though was wearing something completely different, a red dress and a white hat resembling a handmaid from the dystopian story The Handmaids’ Tale. She explained that it was to draw attention to women’s issues.

One Trump supporter said he drove three hours from Tennessee for his first ever Trump rally. He was confident that President Trump will serve a full eight years.
