President Donald Trump is coming to Evansville next Thursday.
Trump’s campaign website says the rally is planned for the Ford Center on August 30th at 7 p.m., with doors opening to the public at 4:00.
Donaldjtrump.com says the president will discuss what the website calls “the benefits of his successful economic policies for hardworking Indiana families.”
Trump is also expected to urge his supporters to vote for Republican U.S. Senate Nominee Mike Braun in his race against incumbent Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly.
The website calls Evansville a “crossroads for so many great Americans in Indiana and the neighboring states.”
It calls it an “ideal stop” for the president's next rally.
Candidate Trump campaigned in Evansville in 2016 at a smaller venue, the Old National Events Plaza.
The event also attracted crowds of protesters outside the venue.
