The Wellness Super Saturday will be returning to the Evansville Museum this summer! This family-day will be taking place at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science on June 20, 2026 from 11 am to 3 pm. Thanks to our partners Kenny Kent Lexus, Ascension St. Vincent, and BFit, this event will be FREE to attend!

Our theme for this year's Wellness Super Saturday is Mind & Body. Join us for a day full of fun activities, amazing special guests, resources & giveaways.

"Pieces of the Past: America at 250 Years" Guided Exhibition Tour

On Friday July 3 from 11 am to 1 pm, the Evansville Museum will be hosting its monthly Club. This FREE event, sponsored by Trilogy Health Services, Solarbron, and Park Avenue Securities & The Owen Team, is open to all adults and takes place from 11 am to 1 pm on the first Friday of (almost) every month.

This month's presentation will be a guided tour of the Museum's newest exhibition "Pieces of the Past: America at 250 Years", led by Curatorial Assistant Savanah Summerfield. 

The tour is free to attend. Museum doors open at 11 am, and the tour will begin at 11:15 am.

Join the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science this summer in recognizing the United States of America’s sesquicentennial anniversary. Come experience Pieces of the Past: America at 250 Years, a special exhibition featuring historical artifacts, untold stories, artwork, and photographs to share the story of our community within the broader national context. This exhibition will be on display from Summer through Fall 2026.

The Club is where you can meet new people, take a break, and learn new things. Each Club features a special presentation or tour. Board games & snacks are provided. The Club includes the Kids' Zone, a place where your kids and grandkids can play while you enjoy The Club activities. Your kids will always be safety within your eyesight.
There is no fee to attend the club on First Fridays, but donations are gratefully accepted. RSVPs are not required, but larger groups are encouraged to call ahead.

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science is pleased to present a two-day Beginner Oil Painting Class!

Join instructor Bri Garcia on Sunday July 12th and July 19th, 2026 from 1 pm to 3 pm. This two-part class will teach you the basics of getting started with oil painting. All supplies are provided, and afterwards participants will be able to take home their brushes, palette, and canvas. The class will take place at the Evansville Museum.

This class is for teens and adults. RSVP is required.
$120 per Museum Member
$150 per Non-Member

Make an Upcycled Beaded Denim Bracelet
Saturday July 18, 2026
12 pm to 2 pm

Join us for a fun, easy, fashion project!

Each participant will create their own upcycled beaded denim bracelet. This relaxing and social class requires no previous art experience. All supplies will be provided.

This art workshop will be led by Sherry Groff & Kris Kleiman and will be held at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science. Art Social is for teens and adults. The cost is $5 for Museum Members and $10 for Not-Yet-Members. The workshop is limited to 15 people.
