Art Social: Junk Journaling
Art Social: Junk Journaling
Art Social: Junk Journaling
Saturday November 14, 2026
12 pm to 2 pm
Join us for Junk Journaling at the Evansville Museum! Junk Journaling is the creative act of taking the scraps of everyday life and turning them into art. Junk journaling uses things we interact with daily that remind us of people, places, and feelings - these moments are worth preserving! Look around, see the beauty in ordinary objects, and start your own collection of memories.
Over the next few months, Art Social will be focused on a series of junk journaling prompts. Each month will be different, and you can come to all or just one. No matter if you are a beginner or already have a junk journal practice, these Art Socials are for you!
The Museum will be providing a lightweight 5 x 8 journal to any participant that would like one, and participants can bring their own journal. Continue your junk journal or start a new one!
This art workshop will be led by Kris Kleiman & Sherry Groff and will be held at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science. All supplies are provided.
Art Social is for teens and adults. The cost is $5 for Museum Members and $10 for Not-Yet-Members. The workshop is limited to 15 people.
Tickets can be purchased at http://weblink.donorperfect.com/ArtSocialNov
Walk-ins, if there are tickets remaining, are welcome as well.
