An Evansville man and a juvenile were taken into custody after police say they found “multiple weapons” in their vehicle. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Evansville Police Sgt. Anthony Aussiecker says the arrests followed an investigation into shots fired in the 1600 block of Jackson Ave. last week.
Detectives stopped a car in reference to the probe and arrested 31-year-old Dyawn Griffin and a juvenile.
Investigators say they found multiple firearms inside the vehicle.
Griffin was charged with Dangerous Control of a Firearm, Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm, Failure to Signal, and driving with an Obstructed License Plate.
The juvenile faces a charge of Child in Possession of a Firearm.
