Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Downtown Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The EPD says officers were called to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of SE Martin Luther King Boulevard at about 3:00 Sunday afternoon.
Sgt. Trudy Day says officers found a man with what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound.
He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office had not released the victim’s name or the cause of death as of midday today (Mon).
The EPD said no arrests had been made.
