A crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV has claimed the life of an Evansville man. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
It happened Monday afternoon at Bellemeade and Englewood.
Evansville Police say the driver of the SUV tried to turn onto Englewood and collided with the motorcycle driven by 43-year-old Matthew Ziliak.
Ziliak was taken to Ascension St Vincent Hospital where the coroner’s office says he died of multiple blunt force trauma.
There were no other injuries in the crash.
No charges have been filed but police continue to investigate.
The crash and investigation shut down the intersection for about two hours.
