William Arant, 18, was wanted for the shooting death of Steven Powell, 20, in McLean County

A western Kentucky teen wanted for a murder in McLean County has been captured in Owensboro. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

Kentucky State Police say 18-year-old William Arant was arrested overnight and taken to the Daviess County Detention Center.

Arant – also known as “Conor” or “Willie” – is a suspect in the shooting death of 20-year-old Steven Powell.

Arant was wanted for murder and burglary.

KSP Trooper Corey King tweeted thanks to multiple law enforcement agencies and to those who provided information that led to the arrest.
