Police have arrested a man accused of robbing an Evansville gas station.
It happened at the Sunoco station at Washington and Kentucky avenues Saturday evening.
An employee at the station said he was robbed at gunpoint.
The suspect took the cash till and exited the store on foot.
Police say the suspect then got on a bicycle and fled the area. No one was injured.
The EPD says investigators saw the suspect on surveillance video and had a “very good description.”
Officers found a man matching the description near Bellemeade and Garvin, identified as 27-year-old Justin Meserve.
The EPD says detectives obtained a search warrant for his backpack and found a large amount of cash, narcotics, and paraphernalia.
Police arrested Meserve on charges of Robbery, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
