A man has died after a shooting near Downtown Evansville late Sunday night. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Police say Central Dispatch received reports of shots fired in the 800 block of Line St. just before midnight.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
An ambulance took him to a hospital where he later died.
There’s no word yet on the victim’s name.
Police reportedly want to question several people involved in the shooting.
