There was a time when the morning newspaper was a fixture on almost everyone’s breakfast table. But the advent of the internet and other digital sources of information have forced the print media to cut jobs, increase their digital presence, and find creative ways to cover the news. We’ll speak to editors of small and large newspapers on how they’re dealing with the changing news landscape.
We'll hear from Tim Ethridge, editor-in-chief of the Evansville Courier & Press, and Angela Geralds, the editor of the Mt. Vernon Democrat, to hear how their newspapers are faring with an online paywall. Judy Clabes, the Editor and Publisher of KyForward, will talk about her transition from print media to 100% online content. And finally, we'll hear from Abraham Brown, the editor and founder of El Informador Latino, the local Spanish-language newspaper in Henderson, Ky.
