Doctors examine Affordable Care Act, share views from the clinic

Today’s conversation is part of a continuing series on the Affordable Care Act –

During the last segment, we heard your frustrations with healthcare.gov during a live call-in show.

The federal government has since combed out the kinks on the website, and now nearly 1,000 Evansville residents are enrolled.

In the first segment, we will hear from someone who has enrolled and how this will affect her health care coverage. We'll also hear from two other women who have decided not to enroll, for two different reasons.

Our ACA correspondent and the Director of the Health Administration Program at USI, Kevin Valadares, will drive the conversation forward by evaluating claims posted on healthcare.gov. We'll listen in on an interview with an ECHO navigator who’s helping Evanville residents sign up on the healthcare exchange.

In the final segment, we’ll talk with doctors – Dr. Paul Perry from Tri-State Orthopedic Surgeons and Dr. Zahid Saqib from the Doctor’s Clinic in Carmi, IL.
