If you need mortage assistance in Indiana, here is one source.
May 3 is the deadline for Indiana homeowners who need mortgage assistance under the Hardest Hit Fund, or HHF. It was originally designed to help during the 2009 housing crisis, but the program closes the end of June.
According to a release from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, the state requested that HHF funds be made available to homeowners affected by the coronavirus as well.
If you don’t make the May 3 deadline for new applications, there may be more funding available later through the American Rescue Plan Act that just passed in Congress. You can call 1-877-GET-HOPE for more information.
