Mobile Vaccination Clinics Start This Week

File

The effort to get more people vaccinated against COVID-19 goes mobile this week.

A METS Mobility bus will serve as a pop-up vaccination clinic starting Wednesday.

The first clinic will be at the Feed Evansville Community Food Share at Hartke Pool from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In a release, the city of Evansville says pre-registration is not required but individuals will need a 2nd dose four weeks later.

Vaccinations will be administered by the Vanderburgh County Health Department.

The clinic will visit other locations through the end of June, including Howell Park, Economy Grocery on Fulton Avenue, the Main METS Terminal on NW Sixth Street, the Lawndale METS Transfer Station, the Potter’s Wheel on Jefferson Avenue, and Simpson’s Grocery on Covert Avenue.
