Henderson Police are investigating an early morning shooting.
Officers were called to Methodist Hospital, where a man had a gunshot wound.
In a release, the HPD said Brian Bennett of Henderson told officers he was walking in the 1000 block of Shelby St. at about 1:30 Monday morning when a man approached from the side of a house and fired a gun six to seven times.
One of the bullets hit Bennett in the right arm.
Police said he didn’t know the gunman.
