One of them had a burn on the upper arm. AMR medics checked the person and did not take them to a hospital.

The home next door at 716 E. Louisiana received some minor heat damage, but Larson said quick action by

EFD firefighters kept the fire from spreading.

The Red Cross was contacted to help the adults and five children, ages 2-to-11.

Larson said the cause of the fire was cooking-related.
