Recipe: Amanda’s Tomato Sauce

You’ll want a large amount of fresh tomatoes (enough to fill a pot, Amanda says) 3-4 onions roughly chopped, a few cloves of garlic, peeled, a handful of fresh basil, a glug of olive oil, and a glug of red wine or red wine vinegar. Salt/pepper to taste. Place everything in an appropriately-sized saucepan and cook over low-medium heat until the sauce is reduced. Blend with an immersion blender or regular blender.
