A police pursuit ended in a crash on Evansville’s North Side.
A Vanderburgh County sheriff’s deputy began chasing a vehicle on southbound Highway 41 near Petersburg Road shortly after 1:00 Thursday afternoon.
The deputy told Central Dispatch that the vehicle contained a person wanted on a felony warrant.
The chase ended a short time later in a crash at 41 and St. George Road.
Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and police detoured southbound traffic for a while.
The suspect was taken into custody.
There was no word on the suspect’s name or the nature of the warrant, as of Thursday afternoon.
