Authorities have released the identity of an Evansville woman who was found stabbed to death.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner's office identified the victim as 23-year-old Kayla Marie Warner.
She was found dead in her apartment at 3205 Vann Park Boulevard Monday morning.
Police said a child was nearby but was not harmed.
The EPD questioned a “person of interest” but released that person Monday night.
No arrests have been made in Warner’s death.
