COVID Death Toll, Infections Rise in Western Kentucky

A dozen more COVID-19 related deaths and hundreds of new infections are reported in western Kentucky. 

The Green River District Health Department added six fatalities in Daviess County, four in Henderson County, one in Hancock County, and one in Ohio County.

Daviess County’s pandemic death toll reached 249, while Henderson’s topped 100.

The agency also counted 360 new infections in the seven-county district from Friday to Monday.

The seven-day average for infections stood at about 95 per day.
