Crews have extinguished a house fire in Newburgh.
Newburgh and Ohio Township firefighters were dispatched to the home in the 400 block of Locust St. at about 10:15 Monday morning.
Shortly after arriving, a firefighter requested an ambulance at the scene.
Crews also reported that three dogs escaped the burning house.
Radio traffic indicated crews put the fire out in less than an hour.
There was no word on the identity of the injured person or how the fire started.
The Red Cross was also called to the scene.
