A fire at an Owensboro motel has injured at least one person.
Firefighters were dispatched to the Cadillac Motel in the 1300 block of West 2nd Street at about 10:00 Thursday morning.
The first unit on the scene said a resident had been pulled from the structure and was suffering from smoke inhalation.
Firefighters also asked Owensboro Municipal Utilities to cut power to the motel.
About 20 minutes after being dispatched, fire crews on the scene reported all residents had been accounted for.
About ten minutes after that, a chief declared the fire “under control.”
There’s no word on what caused that fire at Owensboro’s Cadillac Motel.
