Pedestrian Killed in Hit and Run Sunday

Evansville police are asking for your help finding the driver in a fatal hit and run accident. 

According to a release, it happened just after midnight Sunday morning in the 1000 block of North Fulton Avenue in Evansville.

Witnesses said a light colored passenger car hit a pedestrian while driving south on Fulton. They said the car did not stop and continued southbound on Fulton Avenue.

Evansville police found the victim lying in the street with severe injuries. The victim later died at a local hospital. The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name at a later time.
