The Evansville branch of the NAACP will mark Juneteenth and Pride Month with an online discussion on Saturday.
The event is set for 10:00 Saturday morning on the NAACP Evansville Branch Facebook page.
On the page, the group says it will discuss COVID-19, COVID vaccines, and what it calls the “twin pandemics of COVID and racism.”
Participants will include the director of the Evansville African American Museum and the director of the AIDS Resource Group
On its Facebook page, the NAACP says “there is so much to celebrate and so much to strive for yet.”
