Evansville Police continue to investigate the death of a six-year-old boy who was hit by a vehicle.
The EPD says it happened Friday evening in the 2000 block of E. Virginia, near Weinbach.
In a release, police said a parent took the child to St. Vincent Hospital, where the boy died.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as six-year-old Brady McGill.
An autopsy was scheduled on Saturday.
EPD Public Information Officer Anna Gray called the accident that killed Brady “very tragic.”
She said detectives spoke with witnesses at the scene and the investigation is still ongoing.
