A Boonville man is and another person is injured after a car crashed into a tree in Warrick County.
Warrick County Coroner Sarah Seaton identified the victim as 48-year-old Richard “Rick” Galloway of Boonville.
Seaton said an autopsy was scheduled for Saturday.
The single-vehicle crash happened shortly before 7:00 Thursday evening on Rockport Road near Pelzer Road, just outside Boonville.
The driver, Galloway, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A juvenile passenger was taken to an Evansville hospital. The extent of that person’s injuries was unknown.
There was also no word on the passenger's identity.
