Owensboro Police are investigating a holiday weekend shooting.
The OPD says officers were called to the 600 block of Orchard Street just after 7:00 Sunday evening.
In a release, police said officers found a 33-year-old man with a single gunshot wound.
He was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, with what officers called “potentially life-threatening” injuries.
Police did not release his name.
