The University of Southern Indiana has been awarded $9 million in federal pandemic relief for students.
On its website, USI says it will distribute the funds to eligible students, including incoming freshmen who enroll this fall.
USI says its goal is to provide substantial one-time financial awards to as many eligible students as possible, including undergraduate, graduate, and online students.
The Department of Education has allowed universities to determine award amounts based on established federal eligibility criteria.
