Police say at least four people were shot in an Evansville neighborhood Thursday evening.
Evansville Police were called to the 800 block of E. Riverside shortly before 6 p.m. and the first officers on the scene discovered at least four people had been wounded.
In a release, EPD Public Information Officer Anna Gray says AMR transported the victims to local hospitals.
She did not know the extent of their injuries.
Gray said a “person of interest” was detained and interviewed by detectives. Police also questioned witnesses.
