An Evansville woman is in jail accused of driving impaired with two children in the car.
Indiana state troopers pulled over 41-year-old year old Amy Baker Tuesday afternoon when they noticed her minivan was drifting lanes on Stringtown Road near Olmsted Avenue.
According to a release, she showed obvious signs of impairment and failed a sobriety test. Her 15-year-old and 12-year-old children were in the car.
Her son and daughter were released to family but because Baker refused to submit to a chemical test, she is being held without bond in the Vanderburgh County jail.
Operating a vehicle while intoxicated with minors in the car is a level 6 felony. Baker could face up to two and a half years in prison.
