Warrick Sheriff's Office is Hiring Deputies

The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office is looking for more deputies.

In a release, the sheriff’s office says interested persons must be a U.S. citizen, at least 21-years-old by July 1st, and have at least a high school diploma or GED certification.

Applicants must not have a felony conviction, must be allowed to legally possess a gun, must have a valid driver’s license, must pass a physical assessment and drug screening, and must live within 30 minutes of the Warrick County jail near Boonville.

The sheriff’s office says the positions start at almost $47,000 a year, with a take home car, insurance, paid vacation, and a pension plan.
