Authorities are investigating a fire that forced two adults and two children from an Evansville home.
Firefighters were dispatched to 1758 E. Maryland St. shortly after 4:00 Tuesday afternoon.
In a release, EFD Division Chief Mike Larson said crews arrived in three minutes and found fire in a bedroom.
Larson said firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 20 minutes.
He said the fire severely damaged the bedroom and adjacent rooms. Smoke damaged the rest of the home.
The Red Cross was notified to help two adults and two children at the scene.
No one was injured.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
