Owensboro police are investigating a shooting.
In a release, the OPD says officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 600 block of Maple Lane at about 6:45 Thursday night.
Officers were also advised that a resident had been shot.
The OPD says officers found 31-year-old Dewan Williams with gunshot wounds to his arm, leg, and torso.
An ambulance took Williams to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
